Monster Trucks: Colors and Patterns
Choose a truck with big wheels and a clear background, a flower-decorated truck in a village square, or a front-view truck at a foamy car wash. Start with one picture; add another if you want to compare the designs. For another route, choose two of the matching pickup views: front, side or rear. The rounded cab and zigzag tires recur, while the hood star, door star and plain tailgate are visible from different directions. Try one shared body color and a second color for the tire pattern.

Choose the colors for your truck
Open the picture chooser; all six choices start checked. Keep one original scene, or two matching views for comparison, then confirm the selected pages. You can keep the third view too. Check and reorder the print list before printing or downloading a PDF. Two selected pictures use two artwork pages, all six use six; other pictures already in the list count separately, and an optional cover adds one page. Find the body and the tires in your chosen picture. Try a few colors on scrap paper, then color a section of the body or a wheel. You can use any colors you like.
Spot a repeating shape
Look for V-shaped tire markings in the big-wheels picture, petals or triangular flags in the flower-parade picture, or round bubbles in the car-wash picture. Pick one shape from the picture you are using and repeat two or three colors. In the matching-view set, look for the repeated zigzag tire bands. Keep their colors consistent across your chosen views. The front hood and side door each show a star, while the rear tailgate is plain; color a star only where it is drawn.
Sketch a pattern of your own
On spare paper, draw a strip of V-shapes, circles or another simple pattern. Try it beside a few colored blocks for an imagined truck body. Give your design a name if you like.
Show what you chose
Place your picture beside your paper design. If you colored a second picture, compare its colors and shapes too. Notice how the front-view wash scene differs from the angled view of the other trucks. For the matching views, lay two whole sheets side by side. Point to the shared roof curve or tire pattern, then find a part that becomes visible from another direction, such as the side door or rear tailgate. Explain the change with pointing or words; the drawings are cartoon views, so no measuring is needed.
Another idea
Add a hand-drawn title on a separate piece of paper and arrange your pictures as a small display. One finished section is enough to show a color or pattern you like.
