Bow with a Button Center
medium

These fifteen pictures focus on ribbon decorations. Some isolate the knot, loops and tails, making their differences easy to see. Others add broad patterns or a central flower or button. Bows also sit on one gift box, three stacked parcels, a headband, a leafy wreath and a folded card, or repeat along a kite tail. An angular paper-style bow offers straight-edged panels.

Choose the plain single-loop, short-tail or headband page for open spaces. Long tails provide large lengths to shade. Stripes and dots suit repeated colors, while the layered bow and button page offer more loops. For a small scene, try the gift, card or kite; the leaf wreath and angular paper bow include extra panels and details.
Give each visible loop one color on the four-loop page. On the dotted page, count the ten dots and color them alike; on the striped page, alternate two colors. The three kite bows can each have their own color. For a handmade card, color the card-corner picture and fold the printed sheet with the artwork showing.
