Draw an Imaginary Camper Route

One picture shows a parked motorhome with a side door and living-area windows. The other adds a striped awning, a table and two stools. Use a whole picture as your camper reference. Your separate drawing supplies the map: three invented stops, a starting point and a choice of paths. The finished route is a paper adventure, not real driving directions.

Try the activity

  1. Pick and print your camper

Open the activity selection window. Both pictures start checked; keep one or both and confirm. In the print list, remove other pictures you do not need and check the order. Choose A4 or Letter for print or PDF. The selected pictures take one or two pages; an optional cover adds one more.

  2. Notice a place to stay

Find the side door and living-area windows. On the second picture, look for the striped awning, the table and two stools. Color one broad body area or part of the awning. These pictures have no route map; keep the printed sheet whole as a reference.

  3. Draw stops and a fork

On blank paper, draw three spaced-out pretend stops using a leaf, a hill and a water shape, or your own symbols. Add a starting dot and connect it to two stops in turn. From one stop, draw another path to the third to make a fork. Arrows can show the direction.

  4. Choose a paper journey

Place the motorhome picture beside your map. Trace a route with a finger from the start, saying or pointing to the stops. Return to the fork and try the other path. Choose where the journey ends and add a color or small drawing to that stop. You have made your own branching route map.

Another idea

Try the order start–leaf–hill, then start–leaf–water. These are invented stops, not destinations shown in the vehicle pictures. A child can explain by pointing; an adult can add the child’s words on separate paper. No cutting, online map or real travel plan is needed.
