Heart Pictures: Color and Find Matching Pairs
Spot two overlapping hearts, three buttons inside a heart, or five flowers around a heart-shaped opening. Use two different pictures to start with two pairs; the third picture adds another pair. This is a game with printed sheets on a table.

Choose two pictures or all three
Download a matching PDF from this page in A4 or Letter. The two-pair version has four pages: two overlapping-heart pictures and two button-heart pictures. The three-pair version has six pages and adds two flower-wreath pictures. Copies of each picture are on consecutive pages. These fixed PDFs do not change with the picture chooser. The chooser is for the separate print list: all three pictures start checked, you can uncheck one and confirm, and each picture enters the list only once.
Print one copy and color each pair alike
Print one copy of your chosen ready-made matching PDF, single-sided with one page per sheet. Its four or six pages give you four or six whole sheets. Find the identical pictures and use the same colors on each pair; coloring just a few buttons or flowers is enough. Leave the same areas blank and keep every sheet whole. As an alternative, make a custom print list: remove other items, keep two or three different pictures and turn the cover off. Download that two- or three-page PDF and print it twice to make pairs. Printing twice is for this alternative, not the ready-made matching PDF.
Mix the sheets and turn them face down
Start with the four sheets that make two pairs. Mix them and lay them with the colored side down. Use paper that does not let you see the picture through the back. Add the remaining pair when you want more pictures to remember.
Take turns turning over two sheets
Turn over two sheets. If they show the same picture, leave them face up as a pair. If they differ, look at their details and turn them face down again in the same places. Take turns until all the pairs are face up. Point to the overlapping outlines, buttons or flowers to explain a match.
Another idea
For an easier start, lay every sheet face up and find each picture’s partner together. You still use the same four or six whole sheets, without scissors.
