A friendly little boo
Friendly Ghost — pumpkin carving stencil
This waving ghost has two small eyes, a smiling mouth and a zigzag hem. An opening on the right side of the head keeps the light face area connected to the pumpkin around it.

What to cut. What to keep.
Follow these shapes
Trace the body and waving arms as one outline, then add the two small eye openings and the smile. The dark body wraps around the light face.
Leave these areas connected
Preserve the open channel from the face to the right edge. Closing that gap into a continuous dark outline would isolate the face, changing the structure of this stencil.
Fit this design to your pumpkin
Inspect the face channel and spaces between the eye and mouth cut-outs on the print. If that detail feels too small on your pumpkin, the one-eyed face offers a simpler alternative.
Print width: 160–185 mm. Check the whole print against your pumpkin before transferring; this range does not guarantee the design will be easy to carve.
