What to cut. What to keep.
Follow these shapes
Transfer the solid eye oval, both slanted eyebrows and the broad mouth. The eye has no pupil or retained center, unlike the googly-eyed design.
Leave these areas connected
Leave the lower tooth attached to the shell beneath the smile. Keep the light bands between the eye, eyebrows and mouth intact.
Fit this design to your pumpkin
Check the space between the large eye and the top of the grin. Center the eye on the pumpkin first, then make sure the outer smile corners still fit.
Print width: 140–185 mm. Check the whole print against your pumpkin before transferring; this range does not guarantee the design will be easy to carve.
