For a broad pumpkin front
The long dachshund, running dog and sleeping dog spread sideways. Check the tail and nose as well as the body when placing the paper. The running scene also needs space for its separate ball above the muzzle.

View & print patternA little help choosing
The long dachshund, running dog and sleeping dog spread sideways. Check the tail and nose as well as the body when placing the paper. The running scene also needs space for its separate ball above the muzzle.
The sitting dog has a long upright body. The howling dog adds a moon, while the party pup adds a hat and tongue. Compare the full printed height with the smooth front of the pumpkin before settling on a width.
Choose floppy ears and a broad grin, pointed ears with a heart nose, or a smiling dog wearing a bandana. Keep the facial openings separate and check the small spaces around the eyes and mouth on the actual-size print.

These are ready-made characters. Pick ears, proportions or a pose that reminds you of your dog, or choose From a photo for your own image. Photo results may need cleanup and connecting strips. A clear profile against a plain background is easier to work with than a busy scene.
Pumpkin previews are illustrations. Check the printed pattern against your pumpkin before carving.
