What to cut. What to keep.

Follow these shapes

Trace the hat, ears, eyes, nose and the combined mouth-and-tongue shape. The hat is a plain triangle with no stripes or small decorations to transfer.

Leave these areas connected

Keep the strip between the hat and the eyes. The tongue is part of the dark mouth opening; leave the muzzle around it intact rather than cutting a separate tongue outline.

Fit this design to your pumpkin

Allow room for the hat above and the tongue below. Check the full height before choosing a width, especially if the pumpkin’s smooth front is short.

Print width: 160–185 mm. Check the whole print against your pumpkin before transferring; this range does not guarantee the design will be easy to carve.
