What to cut. What to keep.

Follow these shapes

Trace the ears, eyes, nose, smile, triangular bandana and small knot separately. The bandana is solid, with no interior dots or lettering.

Leave these areas connected

Leave a broad strip between the smile and bandana. Keep the small knot separate from the main triangle and preserve the space between the nose and mouth.

Fit this design to your pumpkin

The pointed bandana extends below the face. Check its tip on the pumpkin and include the side knot when judging the full width.

Print width: 160–185 mm. Check the whole print against your pumpkin before transferring; this range does not guarantee the design will be easy to carve.
