What to cut. What to keep.
Follow these shapes
Trace the single filled dog shape, including both tall ears, the projecting nose, four short feet and the small pointed tail.
Leave these areas connected
Keep the narrow spaces between the feet open to the area beneath the belly. Retain the notch between the ears and the open angles along the tail.
Fit this design to your pumpkin
The tall ears need space above the low body. Check the whole shape at the selected width rather than using the back’s height as the sizing guide.
Print width: 160–185 mm. Check the whole print against your pumpkin before transferring; this range does not guarantee the design will be easy to carve.
