What to cut. What to keep.
Follow these shapes
The puppy, bowl and sparkle make three filled openings. Follow the puppy’s legs; the bowl itself is a solid trapezoid, with no rim or lettering inside.
Leave these areas connected
Keep the horizontal strip between the puppy’s feet and the bowl. Preserve the light wedges between the legs and leave the sparkle separate from the body.
Fit this design to your pumpkin
The bowl defines the width while the puppy’s pointed ear defines the top. Place the wide bowl on a flatter part of the pumpkin before transferring the puppy.
Print width: 160–185 mm. Check the whole print against your pumpkin before transferring; this range does not guarantee the design will be easy to carve.
