What to cut. What to keep.
Follow these shapes
Transfer all ten corners around the outer edge. The entire dark center is removed together with the points.
Leave these areas connected
Leave each light notch between adjacent points open to the outside. Avoid narrowing those notches by drawing a second outline around the star.
Fit this design to your pumpkin
Check the five points on an 80 mm print before transferring the design. A larger print may suit a thick or strongly curved pumpkin better.
Print width: 80–185 mm. Check the whole print against your pumpkin before transferring; this range does not guarantee the design will be easy to carve.
