What to cut. What to keep.

Follow these shapes

Transfer the half circle, horizontal bar and three rectangular rays. The tilted outer rays are separate from the sun.

Leave these areas connected

Keep the continuous strip between sun and horizon and all gaps around the rays. Joining the bar to the sun would remove the intended horizon band.

Fit this design to your pumpkin

This five-opening mini design starts at 95 mm on paper. Check the two diagonal rays and horizontal strip, then enlarge if they feel crowded on the pumpkin.

Print width: 95–185 mm. Check the whole print against your pumpkin before transferring; this range does not guarantee the design will be easy to carve.
