What to cut. What to keep.
Follow these shapes
Transfer the complete bloom and the connected stem-and-leaves shape. The top notches of the flower are part of its outside edge.
Leave these areas connected
Keep the strip between the flower and stem intact. Retain the open notches above both leaves so they do not become enclosed loops.
Fit this design to your pumpkin
Try a 90 mm print and check the leaf tips and full flower height. The design is slightly taller than it is wide, so fit the complete paper silhouette.
Print width: 90–185 mm. Check the whole print against your pumpkin before transferring; this range does not guarantee the design will be easy to carve.
