What to cut. What to keep.

Follow these shapes

Trace the moon, two stars, two solid flower heads and two stem-and-leaf shapes. The petals are outer scallops of filled flowers, with no separate centers.

Leave these areas connected

Preserve the gaps below each flower head and around the moon. Keep the notches above the leaves open to the surrounding shell and leave the two stems separated.

Fit this design to your pumpkin

Inspect the smaller star and the scalloped petal edges within the 170–185 mm range. If they feel too fine, the two-opening small tulip provides a simpler floral design.

Print width: 170–185 mm. Check the whole print against your pumpkin before transferring; this range does not guarantee the design will be easy to carve.
