A closer look at this pattern

What to cut. What to keep.

Follow these shapes

Trace the hat crown, brim, figure, long broom handle, forked brush and three stars. The figure’s outstretched arm and bent leg belong to the same dark opening.

Leave these areas connected

Retain the light bands between crown, brim and head. Keep the figure above the broom handle and the brush separate from its tip; the gaps make the silhouette readable.

Fit this design to your pumpkin

Check the small nose, lower star and space under the bent leg at 175–185 mm. Flip the complete scene if you want the broom to fly toward another pumpkin.

Print width: 175–185 mm. Check the whole print against your pumpkin before transferring; this range does not guarantee the design will be easy to carve.
