A closer look at this pattern
What to cut. What to keep.
Follow these shapes
Transfer the solid cat and each of the three stars separately. Follow the lifted nose and the two ear points; there are no facial details inside the silhouette.
Leave these areas connected
Keep the spaces between every star and the cat. The tail hook stays open at its end, with its light center connected to the surrounding shell.
Fit this design to your pumpkin
This is a taller scene. Check the topmost star and the bottom of the cat together, and keep the low star on the right within the usable front area.
Print width: 160–185 mm. Check the whole print against your pumpkin before transferring; this range does not guarantee the design will be easy to carve.
