What to cut. What to keep.
Follow these shapes
Trace the hat as one filled shape, then transfer the two ears, two eyes, nose and four whiskers. There are no decorative cut-outs inside the hat.
Leave these areas connected
Preserve the space beneath the brim and above the eyes. Keep each ear and whisker separate from the hat and from the other facial features.
Fit this design to your pumpkin
The whiskers set the width while the crown sets the height. Check both before shrinking the design; the small ear triangles still need room to remain distinct.
Print width: 160–185 mm. Check the whole print against your pumpkin before transferring; this range does not guarantee the design will be easy to carve.
