A closer look at this pattern

What to cut. What to keep.

Follow these shapes

Cut the roof strip, two square windows and lower wall shape. The arched doorway joins the bottom of the wall cut-out; follow it as part of that same opening.

Leave these areas connected

Leave the white gaps between roof and walls intact. They keep the house interior connected to the surrounding pumpkin shell.

Fit this design to your pumpkin

Position the roof peak below the pumpkin’s shoulder. Check the bottom wall and chimney as well as the wide roof before transferring the paper.

Print width: 160–185 mm. Check the whole print against your pumpkin before transferring; this range does not guarantee the design will be easy to carve.
