What to cut. What to keep.

Follow these shapes

Transfer each filled heart and the curved smile as three separate openings. Include the notch at the top of each heart and its lower point.

Leave these areas connected

Leave the light space between the hearts and the smile. There are no smaller hearts or floating centers to preserve inside either eye.

Fit this design to your pumpkin

Check the two outer heart curves to determine the width. Position the paper so both lower heart points sit above the smile with the intended light gap.

Print width: 140–185 mm. Check the whole print against your pumpkin before transferring; this range does not guarantee the design will be easy to carve.
