A closer look at this pattern

What to cut. What to keep.

Follow these shapes

Transfer the kitten and its reaching paw as one silhouette, plus the filled circular ball. The ball has no interior lines or center to leave behind.

Leave these areas connected

Leave the gap between the paw and ball intact. Preserve the space above the tail curl; do not join the toy to the kitten to create one large opening.

Fit this design to your pumpkin

Include the full ball and the kitten’s outward tail in the width check. Mirroring the pattern puts the toy on the opposite side without changing the pose.

Print width: 160–185 mm. Check the whole print against your pumpkin before transferring; this range does not guarantee the design will be easy to carve.
