What to cut. What to keep.

Follow these shapes

Transfer all four toe shapes and the single lower pad. The toes are individual filled openings; the lower pad is one continuous shape with a shallow notch at its bottom.

Leave these areas connected

Leave the light strips between every toe and the pad. Combining the toe holes with the pad would turn the recognizable paw into a different silhouette.

Fit this design to your pumpkin

Check the two outer toes when positioning the paper. They spread wider than the upper pair, so measuring only the central pad will underestimate the design’s full width.

Print width: 120–185 mm. Check the whole print against your pumpkin before transferring; this range does not guarantee the design will be easy to carve.
