What to cut. What to keep.
Follow these shapes
Transfer four dark shapes: the large cap, large stem, small cap and small stem. The caps are solid silhouettes with no spots or gill details.
Leave these areas connected
Keep the horizontal light bands between both caps and their stems. Also preserve the space between the two mushrooms; the four openings stay separate.
Fit this design to your pumpkin
Check the tall left cap and the far-right edge of the small mushroom. The stems share a baseline, which helps when positioning the template upright.
Print width: 150–185 mm. Check the whole print against your pumpkin before transferring; this range does not guarantee the design will be easy to carve.
