A closer look at this pattern

What to cut. What to keep.

Follow these shapes

Trace the two cat silhouettes as separate openings. Each tail belongs to its own cat; there are no facial details or dividing lines inside either body.

Leave these areas connected

Leave the broad channel between the cats in place from top to bottom. Keep the light centers of both tail curls open to the shell around them.

Fit this design to your pumpkin

Check the tall cat’s ears and the smaller cat’s outward tail. Flipping the whole pattern swaps their positions while preserving their relative sizes.

Print width: 160–185 mm. Check the whole print against your pumpkin before transferring; this range does not guarantee the design will be easy to carve.
